ABOUT ASPIRA MID-ATLANTIC

Our Mission

The mission of ASPIRA is to change lives through empowerment of the Hispanic community by providing tools and skills to better facilitate entry, and success, in the US educational mainstream. ASPIRA is an Hispanic organization with Puerto Rican roots that is recognized for having established a proven track record in seven states and Puerto Rico. It specifically targets educational support and leadership development for Hispanic youth. ASPIRA also welcomes their parents and classmates with vulnerable access to educational opportunities. ASPIRA seeks to further enhance its organizational vibrancy to support the Hispanic community by addressing key issues of the day through advocacy. To meet this goal, ASPIRA seeks to enter into partnership with educational institutions and community-based organizations to enhance their success in meeting and surpassing their stated quality educational objectives.


Our Vision

To evolve from a regional “Go To “ pillar to one that is nationally recognized for its quality delivery of instructional services that empower Hispanic clients and their diverse classmates and neighbors with vulnerable access to enter and succeed to their potential in the US educational mainstream.


Our History 

Established in 2023, ASPIRA of the Mid-Atlantic serves both North and South Carolina as an affiliate of the ASPIRA Association, with over 60 years of service in education across 10 states.
